Facebook Pages are free and easy to set up. It will take time and work to build up you’re following. However, having this social media tool will help you reach new potential followers and engage with existing followers on a more professional level.
Here are some guidelines for getting started. Having a profile photo and cover image are essential. If you have a logo, your profile photo should simply be your logo. If you do not have a logo, there are many free programs you can use to make a logo such as Canva. Your cover image can highlight what you want it to. Some businesses list their contact information on a decorative background in their cover image, some have photos of their business or booth, and some use photos of their staff. You can be creative with your cover image and look at other businesses pages like yours for inspiration.
The “About” section on your Facebook Page can be found under your profile picture. Here is where you can tell anyone visiting your page what your business does. This section is short, sticking to the basics is best.
However, you can add more details to the full “Our Story” section. In this section, you can explain who you are, how many years of experience you have, what services your business offers, and other interesting facts.
You can also use your Facebook Page to add your hours of operations, location and contact information.
